Are you vacationing on the beaches of the Southeast Coastline and looking for fun things to do, like deep-sea fishing? Double Down Charters has over 40 years of maritime experience and can show you the best time during your trip to SE Georgia & Florida. Even if you aren't vacationing in SE Georgia but live there, you can still benefit from booking a fishing trip. We can show you areas of Southeast Georgia and Florida that you may have never seen before.
Read on to learn more about our fishing charters, including full-day deep-sea fishing charters. While fishing with us, we will use light to medium tackle while fishing in or near St. Simon's Sound Bay, Offshore we may use heavier terminal tackle and gear. We target all types of fish, including but not limited to: Kingfish, Sea Trout, Red Snapper,
Redfish, Amberjacks, Cobia, Porgies, Lane Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, Black Sea Bass, Gag Grouper, Red Grouper, Spanish Mackerel, Porgies, and Whiting. Our Shark Fishing trips are mostly Nearshore, and provides a shorter transit run to nearby depths of approximately 40ft, fitting for kids of any age and first-time fishermen looking to get some experience, without longer cruising times to get out deeper waters for larger pelagic fish, as we will find at 90 to 130 ft of water, approximately 40 to 50 mile offshore and beyond. (1-6 Anglers with a 6-hour minimum) All catches are subject to State and Federal regulations based on size, bag limits, and season regulations.
You should expect to have fun and enjoy the boat all day. we have Sirius XM, and other music platforms to listen to and you may connect your favorite Bluetooth tunes to our boat's super sound system, and even connect to our Global WIFI network via Satellite.
Please talk with us after you choose a booking date; we can customize your charter experience to your expectations and beyond. You will be catered to all day, and your safety is our priority. Our team is dedicated to maritime safety and will provide you with a safety brief upon boarding and answer any questions you may have. You may choose to bring your own food and snacks and drinks; however, we stock a large variety of cold drinks, water, ice, snacks, and other food items.
